And D-18 might be another option for you since you're towards southern IL http://www.district18.org/

(although this website gives me problems)

Flyhigh - here are the track I have been to out of that list:

Joliet-Joliet Motosports Park (Stadium MX/R/P)
Wapella-US 51 MX (MX/R/P)
Wedron-Fox Valley Offroad (NEW-MX/woods/riding park/P/R in future)
Ottawa-Buffalo Range (MX/sand pit/woods/riding park/maybe R/P)
Peoria-Espy Park (MX/P)
Mendota-Megacross (Stadium MX/R)
Casey-Lincoln Trail (MX/woods/GP/riding park/R/P)
Taylorville-South Fork (MX/R/P)
Walnut-Sunset Ridge (MX/R/P)
Galesburg (MX/R/P?)
Byron (MX/woods/riding park/R/P)
Salem-South Central MX (MX/R/P?)
Coal Valley-Tri City MC (MX/R/P)
Nashville-The Edge (MX/R/P)
Attica (BIG riding park/sand dunes/woods/MX/p)
Cayuga (MX/R/P?)
Knobby Hill (MX/R/P)
Apex Valley (MX/R/P?)
Lowes (MX/R/P)
Daniel Boone (MX/R/P?)

So I can give you the details on any of these. Are you looking to race or just to play ride? Attica is a cool place to play ride - lots of big sand dunes - I'm sure you can find some big air if you're creative. Nashville and Salem have some big jumps, too. My favorites of these tracks above are Coal Valley, Walnut, Daniel Boone, Lowes, Knobby Hill, Mendota, Joliet, Bryon, Salem and Galesburg.

Sand Dunes! I really want more info on Attica because I would love to jump sand dunes! I mostly want to play ride, and ride the MX tracks. Salem and Nashville also. and if it wouldnt be too much trouble, could you get me as many websites for these places as possible? Your a real life saver! Thanks for helping me! Oh, and when did you come out to South Fork? Because I ride there often since its only 20 mins away, and maybe I saw you? Anyways, thanks!

Sweet, looks good. I have the whole week off next week for summer break, so I might load up and pay a few of these places a visit! I would love to hit sand dunes and double them and stuff like they do in the crusty videos! I can't wait!

Charlestown, IN
Nikki,
Next time you get down our way, be sure and try Podium One in Charlestown,IN. (dist 15)

Good sized SX style with a Euro woods MX section. These guys are great with the earth movers and change the track around through the season. They are incorporating a new over/under this year. Night & day racing, LL qualifier, and practices every Wed. night. (real bathrooms, restaurant, well stocked pro shop, bike wash)
Plus it's located in God's country. :D

I have a private mx track here in RollingPrairie Indiana.
45 minutes south of RED BUD and 12 miles west of South Bend.

starting gate and 100 yard start area.
The track is 2.2 miles long and has 26 jumps three tables, rocker section etc.
When we run the whole thing it takes about 2-2,20 lap times.
We are open every day call ahead the evening before comming for conditions.
If you want to camp thats free as long as We dont get too crowded.
An average day there are between 10-30 riders here.

Man, I'm jealous. Do we have anything half that great in Wisconsin?

And by that I mean southern Wisconsin. The tracks in central and northern Wisconsin compete with lots of public land where you can ride in solitude and free. We need something like Attica in southern Wis, where the populations of people are.

Yes, I know about Aztalan, Lake Geneva Raceway, etc., .....if only Maplehurst was still around. Can it ever re-open...?...just dreaming.

We've got sand and gravel quarries galore. Isn't anybody making a great place to ride in one of these abandoned gravel mining spots?
