Okie - can you put a NR-17 lock on the ride report when it's posted? Wouldn't want the kid folk to be readin' about this stuff:p

Nope, to fly with me we'll have to get a nice size box and make sure to punch airholes in it. But, I can guarantee, absolutely, positively, that she will get there overnight. ;)

I'm also thinking that Lou would rather make that guarantee. :scream:

Ok, I just figured you might be Delta out of the Salt Lake hub. Of course you can't be Southwest since they don't have any 727s. So, are you with the company out of Memphis or Louisville?

One other question. Is that a DC-10 or MD-11 on your icon?

Hey KX-727, I'm a pilot for Continental (not a scab). I know of a few guys at Fedex. I wonder how many DRN members are pilots?:think

I'm with FedEx, just do the commute thing.

It's a DC-10 (no winglets)
I just recently upgraded from the 727 to the A-300. Sweet plane. Not going to change my number or name though.

As far as pilots who ride, there are a few, but as you know, we try not to talk about it too much.

"How did you get hurt?"

"Fell of my 'bike'"

"Mountain bike?"

"Uh, yea, that's the ticket"

KX-727, I know what you mean. I once mentioned to a fellow pilot that I ride dirt bikes and his response was: "Aren't you afraid of getting hit by a car?". Then the ones that do know what you're talking about seem to picture you in with the pros at a supercross they saw on tv and think that you're crazy, yet we have plenty of pilots that ride their Harley's with no helmet and a t-shirt and think nothing of it.

So far, only about 300. It doesn't look like there will be any more. Things haven't been as bad as they were expected.

Friend of mine rides and flies for CAL. He didn't make the cut. F/O out of CLE on the 73. Haven't heard from him for awhile. Need to call and see how it's going. Rick Revell is his name.

I don't recognize the name, but the 73's in CLE have been reduced so he might be based in EWR or IAH now. There are about 4 pilots in IAH that I ride with. One of them raced the Vet Nationals last weekend and got 7th in either the 30+ or 35+ Int. If your friend moves to IAH, tell him to look me up. There are several places we ride at.

I was thinking the same thing JP. Without TTRGuy around, seems there's plenty of time to poke my nose in other people's business. What am I saying.... that's nothing NEW! ;)
