POLL(kind of): Rider height at ride

Post back with your height, weight and what you ride. Difficulties getting on/off and starting your bike without stand.

03' CR 125, 5'5 155, one hell of a time without the stand.

5'8", 190 lbs. (hey, I'm 'stocky'!) KTM 360. I usually find a big rock for my left foot when it's cold, but it lights real easy once she's warmed up, so I usually jump up on the left peg and come down real quick and then catch myself as she lights.

Both feet flat on the ground when I sit on it. I could use a taller bike ;)

Thekid was 5'1 98# when he first started racing his CR125
He is now 5'8 120# and racing a 250f
Rule was- he had to be able to start it up or no racing it. He also had to go to the starting gates without blocks of any kind (at some he would mound up dirt). He adapted and made up his own technique.

Myself 6' 225# and right now it looks like a XR50 for me. No problems starting it up and I can stand flatfooted without sitting on the seat. Only thing that seems to bother me is I am not as flexible as I once was and sitting on it is a bit painfull

Slid the forks up 7/8" and rear sag is about 3". Took about 1 1/2" out of the seat foam. We get along just fine, thanks.

XR400.

5'9 155lbs.

No problems. My seat is shaved down so that I can touch flat footed.

I can start my friends WR250 (39.1 inch seat height) without a problem too. (Useing kickstart, not the magic button ;) )

5' 3" (maybe 5' 4" with boots) and 130 pounds.

'00 KTM200EXC with suspension lowered 1".   No other mods.

Rode my husband's 250MXC last weekend, and the only concession was to replace his tall seat with my stock seat.   Starting the bike on flat ground was a little tricky, but no problems out on the trail.  :thumb:

6'2 205 lbs with out any gear :) Yes RM Guy, I can confirm muscle weighs more than fat so you could stand to gain a few Lbs :) . 99 WR 400, can sit flat footed with boots on but only just, kicks first time almost all the time from the saddle. If we have to have words I stand up and give her the full leg treatment.

I have trouble starting mine since it is in pieces all over the garage.
 Hmmm...I didn't picture you quite that tall. The weight sounds right though :p

5'5", 130# on a 1986 XR200. Yeah the bike weighs twice as much as me. But I can sit on the seat and touch the ground almost flat footed. I don't have a problem starting it, most of the time, the carb has to be cleaned right now so I can't start it for the life of me. If I'm on a hill and I can't touch the ground with my left foot I can't start it either...I'll just tip over!
