porting

Hi I've decided to get my yz125 bored out to 134 (will leave meat on the cylinder incase it gets scored up in the future). But I was wondering... for a 10cc overbore should I bother with porting... I love the top end power the bike has now, and figure if I leave the stock porting the majority of the extra power is going to go into the low-mid to midrage which is where I want it.

Ideas?

Call Eric Gorr and ask him. He does big 125's for a living. The rest of us can only guess what a port job on a 134 would do for you...

He ported the cylinder on my 500, smoothest power band on any 500 I've ever had. Great ride ability, he does good work.
