I just bought the powermadd handguards for my ttr230, because i kept falling and breaking handles. I rode a day with them installed and they saved my brake handle when I fell, but it was a gradual fall. I paid 35 for the guards and 20 for the mounting kit. I was thinking about getting the wrap around bar to complete the kit, but its 40!, do you think its worht it? Im just worried that i might have a roguh fall and snap the handguard, becuase it doesnt have metal in it, just very storng plastice. Has anyone ever snapped one of these handguards?

"Very strong plastic" is an oxymoron.

Your levers are METAL and they break. A crash that would break your levers will also break those plastic guards.

Metal handguards protect levers (and fingers) from impact damage. Plastic shields protect fingers from cold breezes and roost impacts.
