Pre Load. How Much?

I have searched this forum for suspension pre load and didn't find the answer im looking for...

I need to know how many inches it should sag when I sit on it...

I weigh 170 im 5' 8" tall I ride medium to soft sandy mx, how many inches of sag should I have?

I will have the sub frame off soon and figuard I would set it correctly, I haven't measured how much I have now but I will when my friend comes down...

About 4 inches for a yz 125 - 250. With your gear on.

Cant help you with that. Just thought with your weight and height you would be on a bigger bike.

I should be, sorry for the confusion I should have stated that it was for a 85...

I am only getting used to dirtbikes on it, then i will go up to a 125 most likly..
