I have a problem with arm and hand fatigue in hare scrambles. It starts happening very early on and it takes a while to recover from. It's usually brought on by the first nasty hill climb or two where I inevitably get stuck behind someone who blows the hill and getting me stuck with him.
I don't have the problem when I play ride I think because I take it easy at first giving myself time to warm up. Then can ride hard for hours. But at a race where there is no opportunity to pre-ride, how do I get my muscles warmed up?
