what started out as a frame, 15/16ths of an engine (partially unnassembled), some tires, and a rubbermaid tub of parts for $200 has ended up pretty good.

$170 later (a $70 it 175 pipe + a fmf turbinecore II)

the bike is former ice racing bike, new top end that had never been run when I bought it.

the pipe needed some choping and cutting and welding to fit good, since it's a raced out 1978 IT 175 engine on a
1979 yz 100 chassis.

as far as plastics, and graphics go, it's all home done.

the plastics were pretty good to start, but a little fine sanding brought them back to life.

I'm only 16, so I had to work within my means.
(I'm pretty mechanicly inclined, I do my own engine and tranny rebuilds. I have more tools and know how than my dad :nener: )

It pops wheelies in the first four gears with a little blip of throttle.

the larger than stock mikuni carb and .50 over bore sure help.

I can smell your pant leg burning from here! :nener:

Looks good, nice job! That thing's gotta have a pretty high power to weight ratio.

Thanks!

yep, it is very easy to throw around. it is super manuverable, and on the hillclimbs the thing's a freaking rocket.

as of today, I started shaping some aluminum heat guards (good heat dissapation). I learned to shape metal through trial and error about two years ago, and they are turning out good.

suprisingly though, the pipe does not touch your leg when riding, and preforms excellent. the pipe placement is set up for my leg, and is almost the same as my ke 175's bill wrigues (spelling) pipe. the pipe is flush with the gas tank, although it does not appear to be in the pics.
the pipe by the seat has about 1/8- 1/4 clearence with the side of the plastic pannel, and about 3-4 inches on my leg. it's quite comfortable.

the fmf is super quiet.
