I have a regular platinum pipe (less wall thickness than the II) on my KDX and it helped out the most on top end power and being able to rev out.
I don't know how it compares to the FMF gnarly.
I remember reading that its just thicker. Thats all it needed since its a great pipe but mine has a couple dings in it which may not of happened if I had the II version.
Nope, the Platinum 2 is a different pipe than the Works/Platinum. The Works/Platinum is a top end pipe, while the new Platinum 2 is a bottom end pipe...
