Hello, I just bought a new Applied tripple top clamp off of e-bay I got it the other day, so I took off the handle bars and the steering stem nut, then i took off the bolts holding the stock tripple top clamp on. Then I lightly tapped the clamp off, now when I went to put the new clamp on, I cant get it on it goes on a few mm, but then it rubs against the stem axcel(big long round metal piece goin up through) so I thought it was the wrong clamp for my bike but then i tried to put the old one back on and it did the same thing. So im not totally sure mabe I am doing something wrong. My friend said I have to loosen to bottom clamp bolts to to take the pressure off and it will go on... well what tips can you guys give me.
