Question about 07 KX250F

I just bought an 07 Kawasaki KX250F this past weekend and I forgot to have the dealer put a spark arrestor put in before I picked it up. Should I go to my local dealer to get one and just swap it out myself? Or is it something that the dealer needs to do? Also is there somewhere else where I can get the spark arrestor insert for the stock silencer?

this is true :D, Actually it wasnt that bad. Less than 6k out the door. I should have just had them put in the spark arrestor though. I'm sure the dealer nearby has an insert for the factory silencer.

On motosport.com they have a procircuit spark arrestor for $19.99. Would I be able to easily install this thing myself?

Do you need the SA to ride on public land?
If so, it'll have to be Forestry Approved ... Adding a screen to the stock can won't get it done.

The screens on the PC site are add-ons for their own silencers.

I will just stop by the local dealer and find out then. They should tell you this stuff when you buy a bike but they dont.

Hey Okiewan thanks for that link. I ended up picking one of those up today from the local dealer. It was the cheapest option I had.
