I just rebuilt the engine in my kx 250 and the compression is
215 lbs. I was wondering would it be better to run pump gas or race gas. The engine is stock except for having the head milled, and a wiseco piston. It has a fmf gold series pipe and power core silencer and if you could tell me what jetting specs would you recommend. Thanks for your help.

Chances are pretty good you'll need higher octane fuel than pump gas with that much cranking compression.

I ran 93 pump in my 00 kx 250 with stock jetting 225lbs compression, with out any issues.Jetting is best done by yourself. What year kx 250 do you have?maybe some one can put you in the ball park ,but their are so many factors to consider.
