Does anyone have the Sidi boots with SRS (sole replacement system) ?

Does it make the sole so thick that shifting becomes a problem?
Are there any other problems with these boots?

I just purchased the Sidi SRS and have only ridden with them once. I had no problem with shifting, but I tend to lift the shift lever with my foot instead of pivoting off of the footpeg. My problem is with the rear brake: I can't feel it enough to modulate it yet. I have tried putting some Neatsfoot oil on the boots and plan to break the boots in around the house a little first before riding with them again. Mucho protection on boots, break in may take a little time. I hope to get some serious time on these boots as I break them in. SOLID boot.

I've had my Sidi SRS's for about 6 months now. I have no problems shifting or feeling the controls. They did take several rides to break in, which surprised me. Now they're super comfortable, though. The only thing I continue to not like is that the leather toe is unprotected and takes a bit of abuse. They should have put plastic all the way down the toe like my tech 8's have.
