Question for RAD valve owners..........

I have an 02 220 that came with a RAD valve installed.

The throttle cable rubber boot on top of the carb is touching the frame enough to rub. It seems the RAD valve raised and moved the top of the carb slightly rearward.

Is this normal??

I have a 2002 Kdx200. Have had a Booysen Rad Valve for 2 years, I also had the same concerne, never had a problem. Looks worse than it actually is.

I've had the same situation for a couple of years with my RAD valve. Hasn't caused any problem at all.
