I am being relocated to London for a few years and am wondering if there are any UK riders that can answer a few questions for me. I can live without riding but I really want to let my son (6) keep riding if I can afford it. I've seen a web site that lists several tracks, but I'm wondering how people transport their bikes. I've only been in the city on business but never noticed any trucks with bikes in the back or any cars that would pull a trailer (most of the cars I saw were very small). Do people store their bikes at the tracks or is finding a house with a garage a necessity?
If there's anyone on the forum that has any experience with the logistics of riding near London, I'd love to be able to get some advice on whether I can continue riding over there.
