Question regarding putting excel rims on CRF450 05

As I have mentioned before, I am looking into buying a wrecked CRF450 05. It needs a new front rim, I have replaced these before (I use to build MTB wheels, so it is pretty easy for me) on my RM250 and the OEM/stock spokes were a perfect swap. Is this true with the front wheel of a 05 CRF450 and a Excel rim built for that application? (or do I have to buy the spoke kit and re-lace it?)
