Quick Q-> BR8EG Vs B8EG (resistor vs non)

I know the R plug is the resistor.

I had an R plug int he biek when i got it. Dealer says I can use the non-R in it with no problem.

I noticed with the B8EG it seemd to idle notciably higher, or maybe I had flooded the engine a bit so when it caught it had too much fresh charge?

Is there any real difference between them for a 2002/2005 YZ250?
otherwise I think they would have specified both plugs as suitable in the manual

The resistor plug is recommended as it doesnt interfere with T.V's etc

Both are the same plug and heat range .
