I finally found a place around here to get race gas, of course it was right after I got the bike jetted to run decent on pump gas. Anyway, if I run 50/50 race gas should the bike need to be jetted richer of leaner, or should it stay close to the same?

Thanks

moct race gas will make your bike run richer, but oxygenated fuels run leaner.
Just run the bike and do some plug readings.

The answer depends on what is in your race gas and what is in your pump gas.
Going from most pump fuels to a non-oxygenated race fuel will usually allow you to lean the jetting across the board IF the distillation curve of the fuel is a reasonably good match for the application.

Post some of the details and we can probably help you narrow it down a bit.

It will be a week or so before I start using the race gas, but your answer gives me what I need to know. I will just leave the jetting where it is to start with. I just wanted to make sure I didn't need to jet it richer before I switched gas.

thanks
