Race sag for smaller bikes

My son rides a 2002 KX85 with 10.8 inches of travel front and rear. I know with full-size MX bikes the rule is 95 to 100 mm of sag. What range do I use with the 85?

You can go on percentages-full size bike 12" travel requires 4" sag
so its roughly a third of the travel-you can do the maths as its too late for my brain to function.
