Davey Coombs made it sound like Ricky and Chad exaggerated(spelling?) their injuries just to avoid the commitments to the Euro rounds and do more testing in the US.

I am fairly sure Reed is a go for tomorrow, but is Ricky definitely out for Anaheim 1?

Yes, open the first page of that Racer X mag. and you will see a FOX ad. that has carmichael jumping at his house. It has a little quote from RC saying, " I hate not being able to defend my title, but i'll be back next year" or something like that. I'm pretty sure hes going to take the entire year off then kill everyone again in the Nats.

I figured as much since Ricky did say he would be taking the SX season off during an interview on ESPN2, but I got thrown for a loop after I read that bit in RacerX
