raise an xl600

hi, just bought an 86 xl600r and found this place while looking for info. i was looking for an xr600 but had to settle for an xl as there seems to be a lack of nice old xr's around, but with me being near 6'6" tall the xl seems a bit small too me so i was wondering if theres any easy way to raise the height of the rear end. also the exhaust on the xl is a bit quite for my taste and was hoping someone might know of somewhere that does nice loud aftermarkets for them as i cant seem to find much for this bike at all.
