Ready Ramp Bed Extender

Anyone have or seen one of these in action?? I had this idea after I got my new truck...then I find one already in production. It's basically a truck bed extender that folds out into a nice long loading ramp...very trick! Here's the link http://www.readyramp.com Just wondering if anyone has used one or any feedback. It's a little more than a regular bed extender...$279 I believe.

I got one earlier this year and I like it. It seems more functional than a bed extender (except it doesn't flip forward and create a pocket for groceries or small items like a bed extender). But it does double as a ramp which to me is more valuable.

It is very sturdy and have had no problems with it.

So if it doesn't flip forward like a regular bed extender, do you have to take it off when you're not transporting the bike?

Funny, I had put this topic up so long ago I forgot about it. Thanks for your reply. I ended up getting a regular bed extender for $170 on ebay and using a ramp. I like the concept though.

ggoja, I believe you just have to take it off when not in use. I take my other bed extender off and hang it in the garage if I know it won't get used for a while. They simply lift out and would be WAY too easy to steal.
