I haven't ridden dirt bikes in about ten years so please pardon my ignorance.

Besides the headlight, what is the differance between the WR450 and the YZ450F?

Also, don't forget 5 spd vs. 4, 18" rear wheel on the WR vs 19" on the YZ, Spark Arrestor on WR vs. open silencer on YZ, the WR also has a kickstand, and of course e-start on the WR (has kickstart too) vs. kickstart-only YZ.

Also, on the showroom floor the WR (US version) has a throttle stop (limits to about 2/3 throttle or so), airbox lid, and tiny exhaust restriction. Most folks get rid of this stuff right away and rejet (sometimes to YZ specs).

The suspension valving is also a little different.

Hope this helps.

I thought just the suspension settings were different (clickers), I was not aware there was any different valveing. Because the tank is different, the older WR seats were differnet too, I dont know if its true with the 03 or not, pople with older ones, like me, often buy after market high cap YZ style tanks and seats.

The suspension is way different. Couldn't be more opposite of each other. The YZF is set up for MX, WRF set up for woods. There are no rocks, logs, or roots on an MX track. Nor or there 60ft double jumps in the woods.
