I need to completely disassemble my kdx200 rear shock for gold powder coating. A friend said the metal around the ajustment screw portion is "peened" in & has to be drilled out before that portion of the shock can be unscrewed. Any helpful hints?
If I damage it, I'm prepared to buy a new one. I just want to avoid any common pitfalls.
