Ok i am confused as to which way you turn the lock nut on the rear shock to stiffen the preload. Do you turn in down towards the floor (tighten spring) or up towards the seat????

I know its kinda a dumb question, but i really need some help here.

Turning the nut clockwise or downwards will preload the spring more, anti clockwise or upwards will lessen the preload. There are two nuts, make sure you loosen the top one first before trying to turn the bottom one. The top one is the lock nut, and be sure to tighten it again once you have finished.

Hope this helps.
