Rear Shock questions...........

i have a '91 YZ 250. i have heard that the bikes swingarm does not have much grease from the factorys. the bike has not been ridden much, but the linkage and the rear shock are starting to squeek. i know that the shock does not have much oil on it. what should i do about that??? i am not really sure on what to do. any advies would really help. thanks

If your shock has oil on it, then it sounds like you have a blown shock seal.

The other part of your question is best solved by dissasembling the rear swingarm/linkage and regrease it all. That should stop the squeak.
