Rear shock spring for 88 kdx.

I want to get a heavier spring for the rear shock on my 88 KDX. I have only found one, an OEM spring for $200.00. :ohmy: I have found several places that sell springs for the 89 models and up, for around $100.00. Are the 89 springs too different to work on my 88? Anyone have any other sources?

Have you tried RaceTech? You may have to call them directly, as Parts Unlimited and Tucker Rocky (dealer suppliers) don't always list the full range of RaceTech's line. I believe that they offer one for my 1984 KDX, so should have one for an '88. I will know more Tuesday, as I am having my shock rebuilt.
