i'm 5'11'' and 190lbs, ride a 03 cr 85 expert.i know i'm way too heavy for it but we just ride for fun and through the woods a good bit. what would the drawbacks be of putting a 5.6 kfg
spring on the rear?
thats the stiffist(i think)honda makes. or are there any aftermarket brands that are heavier?

The biggest drawback I can think of would be the fact the the bike would be off balance front to rear. You should stiffen the forks as well.

5'8" 200# and I love my sons 65 although I spend more time on the PW80.

BBR makes stiffer springs for the CR80/85.
I weigh 200lbs with gear and have both fork and shock springs. they work very well.
For best results get the forks and shock revalved for your weight and springs.
