Rear suspension????

I have a 91 YZ 250, and the rear shock squeeks REALLY bad, but the shock has oil, but i think it is the rubber seal on it that is making the noise, it there anythign i can put on it to make it stop, or do i have to take it all apart, or just get a whole new unit??? i dont know

Try servicing all your linkage bolts and bearings!

i know it is not the bearings and linkages, becasue i have removed the shocl and the noise goes away, so i am almost 100% positive it is comeing from teh shock. i think it is the seal on the shock, but i am not sure what or how to fix the problem on it, but i know it is from the shock and not the linkages.

IF the shock itself has oil then my guess is the edge of the shock or the heims rubbing as the shock compresses..
