Rear wheel bearing on a 98 YZ125, how do you change them?

I changed the front. They were no problem as I could knock out the old bearings.

The rear has no separation so I am thinking I need something like a bearing puller? Correct?

Thanks

yea, my brother actually picked up a real cheap one from harbor frieght. we have a store near us, if you dont then google it and you can order it online. it would great for my bike. note how things come apart and make sure you use a good waterproof grease when putting it all back together.

you do the same thing with the rear. Remove the seal, make sure there is no C clip holding the bearing on there, then basically hammer out the opposite side bearing.

Matt90GT you can't do the same thing as there is no space to hit the bearing out.

Got the bearing out but it is not like my manual shows.

My manual shows the circlip and one bearing on each side.

I do not have a circlip (and there is no room for one).
Also one side has 2 bearing back to back. I have 3 bearings total.

I'm guessing you don't have the Factory Service manual?

On a 125 you should have 2 bearings on the drive side.. That's normal.
