Have you read this thread yet?http://dirtrider.net/forums3/showthread.php?t=92818 so ,read it again! The erratic rev is usually a lean condition. Pilot or air leak. When it is idling, spray brake cleaner around the intake and boot, would show an air leak. I believe a bad left crank seal would cause a lean condition. A leak down test would rule out a lot!

You really need to check the owners manual, I mean for the camera. My kodak all in one has the macro mode, then there is being able to use it! Do any of your friends have the same red issue? Have one of them burn your fuel?

the fuel my friends use around here all comes from the same place. next time i riding with one of them i'll ask them if i can take a look at their plug.

:whoa:

the bike has all new crank seals, and top and bottom end. no matter how rich i jet it the sparkplug's insulator tip is always a dark red. i believe its just the fuel i'm using, but i want to be sure before i work on jetting.
