I contracted a flat in my front tire after my last ride out there, so I need to deal with that first. I won't be ready by tomorrow (23rd), but I'm shooting for next weekend.
Monk: No, the knee is probably going to need surgery, but I'll wait until September, after my vacation. I can walk on it, and ride on it, too. It rained at Muenster Monday, so it shouldn't be too dusty tomorrow. Have fun.
You know, Monk, I might just go out to Muenster after all, just for a morning ride. If I do, I'll be through the second gate somewhere, with the van or my old Bronco, two-tone brown.
Did you make it out? I had a pretty tough day. The guys I rode with liked the technical stuff... I only got out of first gear about 5 times all day. Put in over 40 miles and it was super hot. I think I'm going to be taking most of the rest of the summer off. Or at least just doing morning rides.
Monk, I didn't make it out. I stayed home and took care of some things, racked up some points with the wife. Sounds like a rugged day. Who did you ride with Saturday? I might try to go out Wednesday or Thursday if it's really going to be cooler, as the weatherman predicts. Might go Saturday, too, if it's not too hot.
