Reed Valve ?

Just a quick question, with my reed valve off should I be able to see light around the edges? I have about at 1/16" gap at the end of the reeds.

no gap bud. if you want to try to get more life out of them try flipping them over. they may start to crack though. grab a new set if possible.....

Yeah I went ahead and flipped them over, made a huge difference with getting it started, but its still not taking gas good. Gonna order a new set this week.

Also any body know who sells a complete jet kit for a keihin carb? I have been searching online but haven't run across one yet.

One more thing, anybody had good results from the Vforce3 reed set up? Looking it over I like the design and most of the reviews seemed strong, but thats a chunk for someone on a budget compared to a set of boyesen dual stage reeds.

Thanks fellas ! I think I am going to replace the reeds first and then go from there.
