okay heres where i started if you guys saw me other thread
03 kdx200
rb carb
fmf woods pip
fmf silencer
fmf torque reeds
jetting was
152 main
48 pilot
cek needle in middle position
did a plug chop and look alittle white so i went to a 155 main and went to a 42 pilot per a members advice put eh clip one position higher so now in the second position
went for a ride pull alittle better on full throtlle but thought i felt a slight hesitaion around half and quarter throttle and the bike didnt want to rev down completely
to you think i should put the clip back to the middle spot or should i just tune the a/f screw alittle it was around 7/8 out

Frankie-If you raised the e-clip, you leaned the ratio even more. Lower the e-clip, that will richen the mixture. I would work with the air screw a bit after raising the needle.
Also, r u loosing coolant??

The pipe smoking and stinking after riding means that you are getting close on your jetting! You have accumulated spooge (unburned oil and gas) in your exhaust system. Now that the bike is running better, you are exhausting at a higher temp with less unburned products in the mix and burning out the accumulation in the exhaust system. Coolant odor is another situation. Are you losing coolant? You could be getting coolant into compustion chamber through head gasket and other ways, and that will sure make a mess of your jetting and compustion system. Keep after it. Cheers John
