Alright, back on topic.


Would anyone care to explain what would happen if one were to remove these air bleed screws with the bike on the ground like normal? (with the weight of the bike on the suspension, no rider on it)

Basically you will have less air to compress in the forks, in the real world this means you will lose some of your "plushness" in the initial stroke.

I am glad I read this thread. I know I've bled my bike more than once while not on a stand. I will do it right next time.

Don't you guys get owners/service manuals with bikes? I got one for every one I've ever owned. :think:

All my bikes came with a service manual. I just don't read it. :)

I tell the dealer before I even show up in person that I require one with the bike.
