Removal Of Petrol Tank Nuts

Does anyone know how to remove the nuts which are recessed into the petrol tank (The bolts which holds the plastics on screw into them)?

They're knackered and spinning but just won't come out.

I'd venture a guess they wee not supposed to be able to be removed. My guess is softening the pastic with a stream or HOT water might let you pull them out. Using any kind of open flame or electric wire heat might end badly since it is a petrol tank.

You can also drill a hole onto them and use a screw removal bit. There cheap, like $3 bucks.
