Removing restrictor from pipe on PW50

If I remove the washer from the exhaust will I have to mess with the carb? If so what should I have on hand when I dive in? Thanks guys! :)

from memory we mostly removed the washer in the front of the exhaust at pre delivery time and made no other changes before selling PW50 for years.

I went to pull it out and it wasn't even in there, lol. I wish I could find him a little more bottom end, his brother eats him out of the corners on the CRF. Once the PW gets goin I think it's faster than the CRF though, hard to tell in our tiny little yard.

Put stiffer clutch springs in it. They are $20 at peeweecycle.com.
