This is for my 79' Kaw KZ650SR, not my dirtbike. Anyway, one of the (3) mounts cast into the left side crank case for the chain guide to bolt up to somehow broke off leaving about a 1" x 1/2" hole in the crankcase. I found it after noticing a pretty steady oil drip on the drive while the bike was running. I have the peice that fits into the hole. Now, my question is, can I repair the hole? If so...how? I was thinking some sort of "high-temp" JB Weld or similar, or a possible weld repair. Heliarc? Where would I look for this type of service? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

look in your local Phone Book under welding
a good welding shop should be able to tig it for you fairly fast and inexpensively
you might be able to save yourself a little money if you tell the welding shop that all you want them to do is weld it on, you'll do the finishing(grinding). I personally would not use JB weld or similar product for that repair
