I'm in the process of getting a 1980 KL 250 running. The float stop pin has been broken off the carburetor. It's the pin that's drilled into the carb. body on an angle so the tab on the float hits it at the bottom when the bowl is empty.
With that being broke off the float can go too far down and hyper-extend the float needle causing it to fall out of square and bind up as fuel fills the bowl. That being said, my float never floats up and shuts the gas off.
Does anyone know how to replace this pin or have an idea how to solve this issue in another fashion?
Thanks in advance!
