The Knurled cap is good idea, but leads to contaimantion of the valving if it is not cleaned every time. ALSO CHECK AND MAKE SURE THE OIL LOCK IS NOT TALLER THAN THE SPRING GUIDE. SOME OF THE 2000 WP FORKS WHERE SET-UP WRONG AND WOULD SHEAR THE LOWER PORTION OF THE GUIDES OFF. It is a very easy fix with a lathe.
