Need to remove/replace the race and press the bearing onto the stem.

Can I do this with household tools of do I need fancy/expensive pullers and the like? Need to remove/replace the race and press the bearing onto the stem.

you can propably make your own puller. The honda part is a flat piece of metal (1/2 - 3/4" wide maybe) with rounded edges. You put that on top of the race and have something threaded on the bottom of the stem to turn the threads and pull the race out. To reinstall it you need a lond bolt so you can pull it up from the top. If worse comes to worse have the dealership do it...takes 5-10 minutes max with the right tools.

i just had this done at the shop, if you have it all apart and have the new parts for them, they can do it quickly and they only charged me $15.
