Maybe someone can help...

I've got a KTM 300exc with renthal fatbars (protaper style) a scotts damper, and an ICO CheckMate. It appears that the best place for the CheckMate is on the rider side of the handlebar clamps. To make room for the CheckMate, I need to reroute the throttle cable behind the number plate like the japanese bikes. I seem to remember that others have done this by ordering a CR cable. Is that right? And if so, what do I order? I'm really leary about messing with the throttle cable.

I would still like to hear from those who have mounted all three: fat bars, scotts dampler, and ICO checkmate. I plan on using the kit that ICO sent me to mount the check mate on the rider side of the handlebar clamps. What do you think?

I turned my scotts damper around and mounted my computer above it (on my 520 exc). Below the damper was probablly a safer position, but I hated looking down that far. No need to change the cable on my bike.
