Reset button on 2001 for running out of gas

My friend has a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier thta has run out of gas. Is there a reset button some where that needs reset before the car will start? The motor cranks, but does not start. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know about a reset button, I thought those were for collisions, but sometimes you can damage the fuel pump by running out of gas.
