I have already done a few bikes in the past few years,
but dont understand everything as far as building the
shim stacks and midvalve, ect to get what I want.I would like
to set this up for my son for next year for harescrambles.
Any Ideas on what anyone has changed or has to change
to get it right for a 160 lb rider.
Thanks

Overbore, it goes a little bit like this. You show me yrs and I show you mine.
So tell us the stack which is in the forks right now and we can suggest what you have to do to make any positive changes.
This is combination with comments what is wrong with it now. Rgds

the problem is overbore, that people make a living from this, the most time consuming part is not taking the suspension apart, it is from the hours of testing it takes to come up with a good setting, quite ofen, that is what you are paying for when you get a revalve. It would be like asking David Coppafeel how he does his magic tricks, but then again, how that dork ever got it on with that german supermodel chick, now that was pure magic, LOL.

tell us what stacks you are running and how you want it changed and the members may have some suggestions how to improve it.

You haven't broken any rules, it's just that suspension is such a personalised thing from rider to rider etc. If you give us rider details such as weight, abillity and the current settings used, the people here will be more than happy to help.
