RFS float height, how much is 2 much?

Been scanning the boards for float height adjustment on my 400RFS. Would like to improve the mileage. Most guys are at 10mm.

Working through the "BK" mod now trying to get the 1 sec. squirt. Put in James Deans reccomended jetting

165 main
EMN needle (3rd clip)
48 pilot
1.25 turns

When I had it apart I checked float height (9mm as per spec) but went out to 10 mm to keep the tubes clear and not waste gas.

Ran into a rider at the track who was at a full 13mm on his floats.
Good, bad or does it make a difference?

I have set mine to 11mm .I was able to get 15 more miles out of the tank.You need to set your clip in #4 or #5 position and increase your main to 170. I have spent quite a bit of money and time trying to get my 400 to run right at high altitude.
