For all you guys whining about the government closing down some of your riding areas think about how it feels to be me. One of the many dirt bikers in Rhode Island who do not have a single legal place to ride. PERIOD. But, thank god, we do have plenty of illegal trails, along with plenty of cops. Let the chases begin.

kdx200dude....get that thing registered and join NETRA and/or a local riding club. Then you can ride the NETRA events that happen all over New England including RI. For example there's a NETRA turkey run coming up at the end of July in RI. All you need is to be registered.....and have a license of course. If you join a local riding club you'll get exposure to many riding events that clubs noirmally have. Just my $.02.....

You can still join NETRA and participate in junior events. Once you are old enough to get your bike registered and get a license, you'll be ready for the other events that are available through NETRA. If you go to the NETRA webpage (www.netra.org) you can find a local riding club and ask how old you need to be to join. Maybe yoiu could find someone that is already a member to sponsor you as a junior member (if they have that option available). Its never too early to get involved......

Wise words woodsdude.

1994kdx200 dude, Getting involved is more then just riding your bike, it also involves doing what is necessary to open trails and keep them open. Trail maintence, etc..
