In the midst of real sports cars mine is a joke,

My car's been lowered, but it wasn't done professionally
shave a few tenths off the quarter with some hotter spark
I'm saving my money, adding in neon for cruising after dark.

and four ion blue colored Pia daytime running lights
but nothing looks as good as my spoiler and my two foot rear wing
built my own custom sub box but it barely fits in the back of this tiny thing
I can't drive it fast and I can't accelerate,
traded the Civic for the Integra,
big Vtech and Type R decals make it look great
but my ride is still a piece of crap, I rev it to eight grand,
my exhaust sounds like a wet fart that's blown through a coffee can

Not too many of those 600 HP ricers running around the streets with built 6 cylinder motors. I do see 400-500 HP 'stangs that are street legal and door stop reliable though on a fairly regular basis though.

I read the import tuner mags at the grocery store from time to time and it is a major feat to get 10 sec. time slips from a Honda. They are pure race cars at that level. Gutted to the max and no reliability. Ever see a street legal stang with a full interior capable of low 8's? I have. The Honda boys just don't get it...

Honda are made for economy, not to go fast.

True that to the Supra. Waaay more than 10k and that is the exception and not the rule. Not a ricer either.

BTW - all those kewl race scenes in the fast and the furious with those bad -_ss rice cars were filmed at 2x shutter speed and the cars never went more than ~60 MPH. They ran it 2x for editing so the effect is a 100 MPH + race scene. lol!

Dude - My civic is so tyte! I have a huge fart pipe and a huge rear wing (for a front wheel drive car?) and some kewl kanji. I know my car will run 10s!
