Clancy's in Honobia
We had a great time! The cabins were clean with hot water and little kitchens. We paid $75 for the night for a full and twin bed cabin. Tent camping was $10. Some of the cabins were larger (cost ? - on internet). The internet site was a little misleading as far a location. The cabin and camping area was in town (if you can call it that) and a little small and crowded. It was all right next door to Clancy's general store. They had a fire works, a local country singer (needed improvement) and catfish fry going on over the fourth.
There was also another area with RV and test camping down the street. We found many nice open camping areas out along the creek and trails (bring you own toilet paper type).
The area was great for riding. It was all logging roads and hills. Some of the trails were newly cut while other were grown over, rutted, rocky, and challenging. There was a beautiful clear creek (small river) running through the valley that was cool and refreshing after a long ride. The creek really made the area nice, especially the flooded-over water crossings.
The only down side, if you were not prepared to pay, was a fee for riding in the area. It was $25 per rider per year for Texans (Okies only $6). It has to do with the county and Warehauser (spelling ?) owning most of the county. It was a registration for anyone (hunters and fisherman included) using the logging area.
