RK 520EXW chain clearance

Is anyone running an RK 520EXW x-ring chain on a post-95 KDX? Wondering if there are clearance problems around the case...

The current RK o-ring chain I have is about 0.783" across the pin, and I understand that the EXW chains is about 0.823".

Looking at the clearance I have left, that extra 0.020" looks like it may be too much to fit without interference.

Anyone else have one of the new RK x-rings?

I don't have that particular chain but the X-ring I do run on my '06 200 is wider than the stocker and I noticed accellerated wear on the still-wider-yet master link. I bent the chain guide bracket a bit and also installed some spacers to address the issue.

I don't have that problem either. I have a RK 520EXW x-ring chain on a 1997 KDX 220, but I also have SuperSprox front and rear sprockets and everything lines up fine.

220 came with an o-ring chain from the factory; the chainguide is likely wider to accommodate that.
