Powervalve problem and overheating?
I have a 99RM125 And just had the cylinder rechromed and after getting it back I have had some problems getting the powervalve to seem to open and close all the way.The valves seem really loose in the cylinder.and the arm only opens and closes from about the 8:00 to the 9:00 positions. When you take the pipe off and look up in there the valves seem to be opening all the way but when the arm is let off they only drop into the exhust hole about 1/4 of an inch and the jet holes in the valves are still concealed above the ports. Shouldnt they be able to be seen in there(the exhaust hole), when lowered? And also my bike is overheating after riding it for just a few minutes and smoking a lot out of the exhuast and the powervalve vent hose since i got it back together! Plug is dark and oily!Any Answers?
